AMERICAN TOUR OPERATOR IS LOOKING FOR TRIP LEADERS to escort groups (up to 16 people) in Poland, Baltic region and Russia Successful candidates will lead The Baltic Capitals and St. Petersburg" tour in Baltic region - from Vilnius to St. Petersburg, with possible extensions to Moscow (Russia) & Poland (Krakow, Warsaw). The program starts in April and runs until November. We serve exclusively American travelers. WHAT WE REQUIRE: - Passion for the people, country, culture and traditions of the region - Well-travelled with guiding experience in one or more areas we will operate in - Good overview and knowledge of the history and culture of your area - Ability to relate well to the mature American traveler - Ability to share life experiences - Ability to learn, try new things and go outside of your comfort zone - A strong and engaging leader who is flexible, creative and highly organized - Flexibility, teamwork, leadership and organizational skill - Stress resistant and open to receiving feedback - Goal and customer oriented - Fluent in English and spoken Russian - Resident of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia WHAT WE OFFER: - Maximum group size of 16 pax per group - Competitive compensation with an added incentive/bonus for achieving success - Stable minimum of 2250 EUR per 15-day tour (not including gratuities) - Consistent and flexible scheduling based on performance - Comprehensive field training to the highest standards of Customer Service - An environment to grow and be challenged - Life changing experiences WORKING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Describing points of interest and providing informative talks on the bus - Delivering briefings on the history, culture and highlights of the towns we visit - Conducting guided walks and accompanying travelers off the beaten track" - Ensuring guests are exposed to many learning and discovery opportunities including home visits and exposure to local cuisine - Confirming arrangements for the necessary transportation and activities and working with local guides/vendors - Arranging medical assistance for the guests in case of emergency, interpreting and helping them with all further issues in a professional and responsive manner If you match this description, please send your CV and an introductory email until 9th, September to: ezalberg@oattravel.com Please outline your travel experience in the region and why you feel you would make an excellent Trip Leader.
