For more information about Sabre Holdings visit us on http://www.sabre-holdings.com For our rapidly growing Software Development Center in Krakow, we are looking for : Application/Business Systems Analyst ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES: -Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems -Prepares detailed specifications from which software programs will be written. -Analyzes, develops and writes functional specifications for moderately complex application systems. -Research and analyzes application systems to develop an understanding of internal and/or external customer business requirements. -Assists in research and development of tactical and strategic system solutions to existing system performance issues and applications for new systems. -Tracks problems and bugs; communicate with customer as resolutions are implemented. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: B.S. degree Required skills: -Excellent problem solving and analytical skills -Proficient computer software skills -Openness and innovative approach -Technical acumen - quick to grasp the sense of new systems -Excellent communication skills -Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking -Good management/coordination skills -Excellent customer interaction skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel -Understanding of the Product Life Cycle / Stage Gate Process (specifically how to translate customer business requirements into a technical/functional solution) -Deep Travel Industry knowledge in regards to Air, Car and Hotel business domains -Specific GDS/CRS/PMS product knowledge (like shopping, pricing, availability, etc.) Experience: Minimum 3 years travel related and/or technology experience.
